Pandemic Punch is a mail art piece that I started on April 8th and have continued everyday or every other day since then. I have been creating " mail art pieces" for 25 years and decided to cut up the packaging of the bag and make it into postcards. The cards are numbered to reflect the days of quarantine and also have images from the news or from the home front. It has become a daily ritual of my art practice and is also helping the United States Postal Service which is struggling. I also photograph where the postcards are mailed from and this is also part of the piece.I ran out of packaging and am now cutting up the bag and mailing pieces of it which are glued onto a postcard.
